Principals and Founders
Roger Chaufournier, MHSA
Prior to CSI Solutions’ founding, Mr. Chaufournier served for six years as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Patient Infosystems, a publicly traded population health management company. Mr. Chaufournier spent twelve years in progressive senior leadership positions in hospital administration at the George Washington University Hospital and University, three years as the Assistant Dean for Strategic Clinical Initiatives for the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and three years as Chief Operating Officer for a national health plan. Mr. Chaufournier also served for three years as an Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Mr. Chaufournier’s experience in hospital management, group practice administration, managed care and leadership of a for-profit public company has afforded him a unique perspective on the health care system. Mr. Chaufournier has extensive experience in organizational and health system improvement internationally and has led numerous strategic planning initiatives, including several for Alaskan Native communities. Mr. Chaufournier is a frequent lecturer and keynote speaker for a variety of professional organizations and continues to serve on the faculties of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement where he has supported the Indian Health Service Improving Patient Care initiative (IPC) as well as the Office of the National Coordinator Beacon Communities.
Christine St. André, MHSA
Ms. St. André has more than thirty years of leadership experience in complex health care organizations. She held the CEO position at two large academic medical centers – the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics in Salt Lake City and the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. In both of these organizations, major accomplishments included early adoption of health information technology, introduction of a quality management strategy, and improving the overall financial position of the organization. These organizations also afforded the opportunity to gain experience with operating an integrated delivery system with a large faculty practice component as well as addressing the change management associated with organizational mergers. Immediately prior to CSI Solutions’ founding, Ms. St. André was the President and COO of Patient Infosystems, a public population health management company, and American CareSource, a company that manages ancillary benefits. Ms. St. André is actively engaged in CSI Solutions’ design and implementation of Patient-Centered Medical Home initiatives, leadership development, and readiness for payment reform and alternative payment strategies. Ms. St. André has particular expertise in strategic and financial planning and quality improvement strategies. She has led several of the company’s initiatives tying the business case to primary care transformation and supporting transformation to a health home/medical home model of care.

Laurel Simmons, MS
Ms. Simmons is a Project Director at CSI Solutions and has primary responsibility for managing Learning Collaboratives. Most recently, she directed the Missouri Patient Centered Medical Home Collaborative, a two-year initiative to accelerate successful transformation to Patient Centered Medical Home for 78 primary care and behavioral health practices in Missouri.
Prior to joining CSI in 2011, Ms. Simmons served as the Associate Director for Quality Improvement for Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, an 800-bed general hospital in Northwest England. She led efforts there that measurably reduced mortality and improved evidence based care throughout the hospital. From 1999 to 2008, Ms. Simmons served as Grants Manager and Project Director at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in Cambridge MA, leading projects that included the New Health Partnerships initiative to transform patient self-management support in primary care and specialty settings.
Greg L. Wolverton, FHIMSS
Mr. Wolverton is a technology, innovation, quality improvement professional, author and futurist who has achieved much success in leading large-scale technology and quality improvement initiatives in multi-state healthcare environments. He has demonstrated success as a technology and innovation leader and is considered an expert in healthcare technology, innovation and process development. He also serves as National Strategy and Innovation Advisor for the Kentucky Health Center Network.
